Hi
My name is Danielle
I am an aspiring entrepreneur with many talents and skills that you can make use of. I have grappled with the question for so long of what I should do, in terms of a career, because my interests and talents are so diverse. However in the past year or so I have found my calling. I intend to study to become a high school Maths teacher. I’ve been a maths tutor for so many years you’d think it would have been obvious but for some reason it had alluded me until recently.
Caring
I love to be around people and my greatest joy is spending time with the people in my life. I love children and spending time and playing as I am definitely still a child at heart (just with adult responsibilities!). One of my greatest joys is tutoring because that “Ah ha!” moment when a student finally understands, is just the best feeling ever.
Creative
I’ve always been a tactile person. I love making a mess and being covered in paint or bitumen or icing, but the best part is seeing the creations in my mind take shape in the physical world. Like a little part of my soul has been set free. Sharing these creations warms my heart, whether it be baking, painting, crocheting or constructing some kind of huge installation.
Logical
I wouldn’t be complete without my maths brain. There’s something about maths that has always tickled me pink. I often find that its like untangling a ball of wool. It’s just so satisfying when it finally works out and I’ve met a small challenge. I love that feeling of the cogs ticking in my mind. Applying maths in music, accounting and crafting is really neat, and applying it to my creative work is where I fly.
